Complete Project Management | Quality Materials | Budget & Timeline Focused
As a business owner or property manager in Valencia, the last thing you want to worry about is maintaining your paved areas. When you work with GPM, we allow you to be free to pursue what you really want to with your business.
Asphalt & Paving Services We Provide
Whether you need repair, or brand new pavement, GPM has you covered. Coupled with over 30 years of experience, we use the latest asphalt technologies.
New Pavement Construction
We make any new paved surface project stress-free for you by taking care of all the details.
Complete Site Development & Grading
We have the equipment, experienced crews, paperwork and code experts, and skills to perform every project of your commercial paving project and development, including pavement marking & striping.
Asphalt Overlays & Sealcoating
Overlays are commonly recommended as part of a repair or maintenance project. We have extensive experience with overlays and sealcoating and will show you a range of options.
Not all projects require complete reconstruction or an overlay. Sectional patching is often a reasonable solution to extend the life of your pavement
Full Depth Reclamation (FDR)
FDR involves taking the section requiring repair and pulverizing both the asphalt and its granular underlayment to produce a uniform, “stabilized base course” (SBC). FDR gives you a permanent fix (definitely not a “band aid”). Because it recycles existing material, it is considered one of the “greenest” techniques.
Mill & Fill
This consists of removing existing pavement with a milling machine to a depth of 1-2”, and then applying new asphalt mix.
Asphalt Removal & Replacement
Eventually, asphalt reaches the end of its life cycle. At that point the only realistic solution is to remove the existing pavement and replace it with new asphalt.
We used GPM to repair approximately 800 square feet of potholes on a shared private road and to seal our private driveway. Throughout the process, the project manager kept us informed and was very responsive to our questions. The crew did an excellent job, going above and beyond expectations with no disruption to neighbor traffic. I would highly recommend this company for road repairs.
I accidentally left my car in the parking lot that GPM was going to asphalt the next day. These guys went out of their way and put the car up on rollers so they did not tow our car! This is a genuinely great company with good people!
Asphalt Paving FAQs
What is the process in getting a paving quote from GPM?
It’s easy. Simply contact us through our website form and tell us about your potential paving project. We’ll get in touch and arrange an onsite visit to accurately assess your project. Your quote will include the cost of the project and an accurate timeframe for completion.
What asphalt mixture do you recommend for the Southern CA climate?
We use a variety of asphalt mix designs to best address every project needs. Hot mix asphalt is ideal for the warm California climate. We will assess which mix works best for your project, and also what type of aggregate will provide the best finished result. Larger aggregates like gravel are needed if the asphalt will be used by heavy commercial vehicles. Smaller aggregate presents a smoother look and is perfect for normal, everyday use.
How do you decide if asphalt or concrete works better?
Usually the type of project dictates whether we use asphalt or concrete. Asphalt is easier to install and usually costs less than concrete. It’s ideal for roads, parking lots, industrial properties, and multi-family or HOA units. However, concrete provides a stronger finished project than asphalt, so is often the best choice for heavy loads. Concrete is also preferred for sidewalks, curbs, ramps, gutters, patios, walkways, and water channels. Concrete can be stamped, colored and custom finished which offers many options for a touch of beauty to the finished product.
Do you work at night to help minimize disruptions to my business?
We don’t typically work at night, but we take a proactive approach to minimize disruptions to your business. We schedule our projects to the day and hour, so you know exactly when your project will begin and end. We also notify anyone affected by the work, whether they are business owners, homeowners, or tenants. We also zone off the project area prior to beginning so stakeholders are not surprised the day work begins. We take pride in our customer service and ensuring that tenants and property owners have a positive experience and as little disruption as possible. GPM handles all types of phasing and traffic plans.

Valencia is one of four unincorporated communities that merged to create the city of Santa Clarita in 1987. Valencia lies in the western part of the city, and both State Route 126 and the Santa Clarita River run through the community. The area contains several major commercial and industrial parks.
Valencia was founded as a master-planned community. Today, Developers continue to work on development projects in the unincorporated area.
The master-planned parts of Valencia were planned and created in the 1960s by the Newhall Land and Farming Company. Each of Valencia’s residential areas are separated into villages, and each village has its own separate personality and lifestyle. Almost all Valencia residents have close access to schools, shopping, and other amenities. Some villages even have their own homeowner associations to oversee the upkeep of the development.
Valencia boasts multiple attractions such as Six Flags Magic Mountain, an amusement park with 19 roller coasters–more than any other amusement park in the world! It also has a shopping mall, an ice rink, and two golf courses for residents to enjoy, as well as numerous quality retail stores and restaurants.
