Asphalt Overlays
Overlays are commonly recommended as part of a repair or maintenance project. We have extensive experience with overlays and will show you a range of options.

Sectional Patching
Not all projects require complete reconstruction or an overlay. Sectional patching is often a reasonable solution to extend the life of your pavement

Asphalt Removal & Replacement
Eventually, asphalt reaches the end of its life cycle. At that point the only realistic solution is to remove the existing pavement and replace it with new asphalt.

Mill & Fill
This consists of removing existing pavement with a milling machine to a depth of 1-2”, and then applying new asphalt mix.
Say goodbye to poorly paved driveways, gravel/dirt areas, or failing asphalt. When you work with GPM, we take the stress out of any asphalt or paving project that you have at your business with a budget that works!

“GPM, particularly our project manager Matt, understood our needs and expectations from day 1. As GM of a large HOA, I shared how we’ve been burned in the past by poor work product, communication and corrective follow-up. Matt and his team exceeded expectations. They were punctual, honest, paid attention to details, proactively communicated and produced a beautiful product (with minimal Residential disturbance). Minor details that caught management’s eyes: GPM arranged the markup of utility lines well in advance, prepared a notice for Residents, put out cones with parking instructions, brought their own portable restroom, started/finished on schedule and constantly maintained communication. We will definitely work with them again and recommend their team to our network of HOAs.”

“I am so very happy with the work GPM completed on my property. They arrived as scheduled and completed the job within the scope of time. The work itself turned out better than I ever hoped for. The project manager, Gabe and superintendent, Nicholas came out ahead of time to to evaluate the job and prepared me for the work to be done. I highly reccommend this company and working with Gabe was a pleasure.”

Asphalt Paving FAQs
What is the process of getting a paving quote with GPM?
It’s easy. Simply contact us through our website form and tell us about your potential paving project. We’ll get in touch and arrange an onsite visit to accurately assess your project. Your quote will include the cost of the project and an accurate timeframe for completion.
How soon does new asphalt typically need regular maintenance?
New asphalt takes between six months and a year to fully cure. It shouldn’t need maintenance before then, but if you happen to notice any cracks or damage, notify your asphalt provider immediately. Your asphalt should be sealed after it cures. After that, we recommend sealing your asphalt every three to five years. You should also inspect your pavement at least once a year for cracks, potholes, and other damage.
My asphalt is starting to crack - do I need to replace it?
No, but cracking is serious because it can quickly spread and cause more damage. If you see cracks, call us immediately. We will crack seal the asphalt if damage is minimal, or we may patch the asphalt if it is more extensive. The sooner cracks are fixed, the less damage they cause and the less it will cost to repair the asphalt.

Morro Bay boasts a rich history that dates back thousands of years. Originally inhabited by the Chumash and Salinan Native American tribes, the area was known for its abundant marine resources and mild climate. The town itself was established in 1870 by Franklin Riley as a port for exporting dairy and ranch products. Over the years, Morro Bay evolved from a bustling port town to a beloved coastal destination, known for its natural beauty and vibrant community.
